Solutions
DADOS platform is a web-based application for electronically collecting and managing data related to treatment outcomes. The clean and intuitive interface allows clinics to collect data from their patients within a clinic setting. The flexible administrative backend of the platform gives users complete control over subject information and collection schedules and also includes useful reporting and tracking tools. DADOS is an intuitive yet flexible solution that gives both research teams and clinicians what they want while providing a perfect balance between high regulatory compliance and the best of breed functionality.
This program currently uses DADOS to facilitate the collection of standardized client data electronically as part of their routine care. This data provides an invaluable portrait of inpatient rehabilitation services and associated health outcomes at all levels. DADOS also helps clinicians create customized care plans for patients, leading to better health outcomes and improved efficiencies in the form of shorter hospital stays, reduced wait times and better access to care.
Learn about how DADOS team developed DADOS-Connect and the real-time report generator to address their needs
Altum Health uses DADOS-Connect to allow patients to input data from the comfort of their own home.
According to a health policy statement from the American College of Cardiology (ACC), incorporating technology into healthcare will facilitate collecting patient-reported outcomes (PROs), allowing for more accurate assessments of health and disease. In addition, real-time transfer of user-generated data can strengthen patient-provider communication, supporting shared decision-making. Read the ACC Health Policy Statement on Healthcare Transformation in the Era of Digital Health, Big Data, and Precision Health and learn how PROs can revolutionize modern healthcare.
DADOS generates reports in real time, allowing you to monitor your patient’s progress and make informed treatment decisions. The platform caters to various specialities, providing customizable methods of collecting and retrieving patient outcomes.
In a study led by Dr. Eric Makhni, 143 patients undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery in 2014 were prospectively enrolled into an electronic data collection system. Participants were asked to complete a set of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) pre-operatively, and six and 12 months post-operatively. Results indicated that 76% of individuals completed their forms pre-operatively, however, compliance form completion decreased to 57% at 6 months and to 45% at 12 months. Most patients who did complete forms did so at home or at another location before returning to the clinic. Read the full article to learn why Dr. Makhni thinks that continuous innovation is needed to improve outcome collection rates for patients.
DADOS allows patients to complete study forms at home through the DADOS Connect feature, and its user-friendly interface may help maintain better data collection rates.
In a recent study, seven patients with low back pain provided their perspectives on using PROMs in patient-centred consultations. The study focused on the assessment of functioning and disability in developing a new PRO instrument.
The patients identified simplicity, individuality, and application as the key elements of importance. Learn more about these core themes and some benefits of involving patients in PROs development.
DADOS can help you adopt your own patient-centred PROMs. The system’s user interface is clean and simple to use, providing a smooth experience for you and your patients.
