
Mobile technology can be a viable option for collecting patient-reported outcomes (PROs) from cancer patients. In a trial, running from February to August 2017, 296 patients with various types of cancer who were expected to live longer than 6 months received an Apple watch to complete 12 subsequent weekly PROs, including those on physical function, fatigue, and sleep, as well as other PROMIS questionnaires.
