
Life sciences companies plan to use a greater range of patient data for more accurate decision-making.
According to the eClinical Landscape Study from Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development, 97% of life sciences companies expect to increase the use of clinical data sources over the next three years to make faster, more accurate decisions during clinical trials. Ninety-eight per cent of 250 respondent companies, however, currently have challenges with their clinical data management applications. Ninety-three percent aim to use electronic patient-reported outcomes and electronic clinical outcome assessment as sources in three years.
