Introduction Session & Training Workshop
On December 5, The HealthMeasures team at Northwestern University, U.S., will host a one-day introduction session to the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), item response theory (IRT), and Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT). On December 6th, HealthMeasures will also present a one-day NIH Toolbox® Training Workshop. Both sessions will take place in Chicago, IL, U.S.
PROMIS CAT tools are used in many large institutions throughout the U.S. but have not seen widespread uptake in Canada because there has not been a PROMIS server readily available. The DADOS team is rolling out PROMIS in the near future, which will provide a way to incorporate these tools in your research.
